  • Is there somewhere I can park?
We meet at the far end of Plymouth Argyle's Home Park Car Park which is free, and has ample space for all to park. If there's a large scale event on such as an Argyle match we may do a 'pop up' session in another location. However this is very rare, and will always be communicated clearly via our social media.
  • How fit do I need to be to take part?
Our classes are for ALL abilities. Our colour coded system ensures different rep ranges and timings for different fitness levels. So whether you are a complete beginner making your start or return to exercise, whether you have a base level of fitness already looking to maintain or improve, or whether you are looking to really push yourself or training for an event. Or perhaps you are simply looking to try something new and meet a sociable, friendly and supportive group. No matter what your fitness level, there is a place for you to train with us at Plymouth Fitness Company.
  • How do I start my free trial?
All we need in advance is for you to fill out our health questionnaire which should only take 1-2 minutes. We recommend doing this in advance by the link in the email you will receive once if you claim your free trial via our website. This way, the coach can also know to look out for you on the day. Alternatively, you can just turn up, but make sure you arrive nice and early to fill out the relevant paperwork.
  • Is there somewhere I can leave my belongings?
Usually, our members only come with what they need to train in. We reckon nearly everything else could be left in your own car or at home. Water bottles or anything you need during class to train should be carried. Additional items such as inhalers or keys can be stored in the coach's bag.
  • What time do I need to get to a session?
If it is your first session please arrive around 15 minutes early. Even if it isn't your first time, getting to a session a little early is always recommended! If you're late to the van we may have set off already!
  • What should I wear?
We train in all weathers, all year round so dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day. - Warm, hot weather lightweight gym kit - Cold, wet weather we recommend our members wear trail shoes to avoid slipping on wet grass - Bring warm layers to put on after training
  • Where are you located?
All sessions take place in Plymouth Central Park. We use various parts of the park, however our meeting point is always the same. You'll find us at the far-end of the Park & Ride Car Park by Plymouth Argyle's Home Park - look out for our white van with the PFC logo on it!
  • What do I need to bring with me?
Bring yourself, a bottle of water and a can-do attitude! All other equipment will be provided.
  • Free trial? What's the catch?
There is none! Come along and you'll get 7 days to try us out completely free, with no obligation to sign up.
  • I'm feeling anxious! When's the best time to do my first session?
We welcome new trialists at every session! We get how nerve-wracking it can take to turn up to a new group, but we were all new once and like to think of ourselves as a friendly and welcoming bunch of all ages and abilities. If you are struggling, please message our page on Facebook or Instagram and one of our friendly coaches or members would be happy to arrange to meet you slightly early, in hopes of making turning up for the first time slightly less daunting!
  • When are sessions?
We have 4 sessions a week all year round including bank holidays (excluding Christmas Day). The classes are Mon & Wed 7pm - 8pm and Sat & Sun 9am - 10am.
