TRAINING WITH PFC

We provide classes for ALL abilities. No matter what your fitness level, our class colour system will support you to achieve your goals.

We deliver military-style bootcamp classes incorporating; strength, endurance, anaerobic, plyometric, fitness testing, circuits... and more!

CLASS COLOUR SYSTEM

Our class colour system allows us to cater for all abilities.

Each colour represents different training intensity relevant to distance, number of repetitions, or time exercising.

Start safely at Blue and work your way through...

BLUE

For those new to exercise or returning from injury, Blue is your safe zone to get back in to a regular training habit.

New members are encouraged to train at Blue to establish a baseline fitness before moving up to Red...

RED

For people with a baseline fitness who exercise 2 to 3 times a week, Red is the zone to turn any weakness into strength.

Our Reds are encouraged to push themselves to Green - are you up for the challenge?

GREEN

Not for the faint hearted...

Our Greens are coached to work towards their maximum ability to achieve a high-level of fitness - and we really test their limits!

There is always room for improvement - go on, push yourself!

WHO LEADS TRAINING?

Our team of ex-military coaches are experienced and ready to put you through your paces. Want to know more about who's instructing your class? Meet The Coaches >

  • Is there somewhere I can park?
We meet in Plymouth Argyle's Home Park Car Park where it will be free for you to park during your session. If there's an event on (Car Boot Sale or Argyle football match) it may be busy, but our members usually have no issue parking.
  • Is there somewhere I can leave my belongings?
Usually, our members only come with what they need to train in. We reckon nearly everything else could be left in your own car or at home. Water bottles or anything you need during class to train should be carried. Additional items such as inhalers or keys can be stored in the coach's bag.
  • What time do I need to get to a session?
Getting to a session a little early is always recommended! If you're late to the van we may have set off already!
  • Where are you located?
Our sessions all happen in Plymouth Central Park. We meet at the far-end of the Park & Ride Car Park at Plymouth Argyle's Home Park - just look out for the PFC Van!
  • When are sessions?
We have 4 sessions a week all year round (excluding Christmas Day). The classes are Mon & Wed 7pm to 8pm and Sat & Sun 9am to 10am.
  • How does the 30-day FREE trial work?
Your 30-day FREE trial activates as soon as you arrive and sign up at your first session. During your 30-day trial, you can come to as many classes as you like to let you get a feel of the classes and the training style. After your 30 days you can choose to continue with one of the membership options above. If PFC isn't for you, then there's no catch or commitment after the free trial has passed!
  • How fit do I need to be to take part?
We provide classes for ALL abilities. No matter what your fitness level, there is a place for you to train with us at Plymouth Fitness Company.
  • What should I wear?
We train in all weathers, all year round so dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day because there's no escaping it! - Warm, hot weather lightweight gym kit - Cold, wet weather we recommend our members wear trail shoes to avoid slipping on wet grass - Bring warm layers to put on after training - NEVER FORGET YOUR BIB!! (we have a penalty for that!) - Always bring water
  • What do I need to bring with me?
Bring yourself, a bottle of water and a can-do attitude! All other equipment will be provided.
